When implemented, the Program could provide up to $1,000 per month for three months to renters who have lost income due to COVID-19. Please note the following: - The Program has not yet been implemented. - Details regarding eligibility, required documents, and deadlines will be released as soon as funding becomes available. - The number of families that will be helped by the Program will depend on the level of funding received from the second round of the Federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). The Los Angeles County Development Authority will report back to the Board of Supervisors with an implementation plan for the Emergency Rent Assistance Program on May 14, 2020.
